Andrew Murch

Andrew Murch – Trade Mark Attorney

Having graduated from Brunel University, Andrew began his professional career in 1993 at Grant Spencer Caisley & Porteous under the tutelage of Adrian Spencer.

In 2000 Andrew joined Withers & Rogers as head of their London Trade Mark Department before establishing his own practice AJM Associates in 2002. In 2007 he joined forces with Mastrovito Associates and subsequently transferred his practice to Page White & Farrer in 2009 where he remained until joining Nucleus IP in 2011.

Andrew successfully argued the widely reported High Court decision concerning the admission of further evidence on appeal in the case of Etat Francais representee par la Ministere de L'Agriculture de la Foret v Bernard Mattews Plc – LABEL ROUGE.

He was elected to the Council of the Chartered Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys (CITMA) in 1999. During his two-year term on the Council he helped revise CITMA's educational programme.

Andrew is also a part-qualified UK Patent Attorney.

Before joining Nucleus IP, Janice worked in the Intellectual Property Department of British Telecommunications plc assisting the head of patents and head of trade marks.

At Nucleus IP Janice works with Jandan Aliss, Kate Cheney and Jennifer Hitchcock's teams and is involved in all aspects of trade mark formalities.

Joined Nucleus IP in 2001.

Before joining Nucleus IP Deborah worked in the surveying industry.

Deborah is part of Jandan Aliss and Jennifer Hitchcock's teams.

In addition to her secretarial duties to Deborah makes good use of her organisational skills, keeping evidence packs up to date for major clients. This negates the need to revert to clients each time evidence is required for a contentious matter.

Joined Nucleus IP in 2015.

Jamie provides clerical assistance to Andrew Murch and Ese Akpogheneta, as well as handling most of the day-to-day admin tasks in the office. In addition, Jamie provides IT Support.
